I had an EKG today and had to be like the man began "stat read"?
means the doctor has to read fast. He asked me if I had pain in the chest and told him just a little with anxiety attacks. I think it said the test had anything to do with the anterior wall of heart or something like that maybe he said angina. Anyway, said nine out of ten times it's nothing. Therefore, the doctor had read it and it was nothing. But, What would that proof reads like something was wrong. I go talk to my MD doctor about it?
EKG machines to try to interpret what results mean, but they are wrong atleast 50% of the time. A perfect example is the situation previous Ramkota, said the nurse said she saw the EKG was normal, but in reality was not … EKG machines really just do not know how to interpret it. Do not listen to anyone besides the doctor, because the nurses and technicians usually off what interprets the ECG machine, which is silly. I've done / seen hundreds if not thousands, of electrocardiograms working in the ER and the machines are not correct, why physicians should interpret them. EKG have "benchmarks" established that if your heart rate is outside these parameters, it automatically thinks that is wrong. Even so much as breathing can cause the ECG machine misinterpret what is actually happening. Angina is a type of chest pain as a result of the heart not getting enough oxygen. Depending on the type of angina, may be a precursor to a heart problem in the future. Angina can often be detected on an electrocardiogram. I guess it was a cardiologist who interpretted the ECG? He knows much more about reading an electrocardiogram a normal family doctor, and would do much more in depth. Also, keep in mind that in certain places, are all ECG "stat reads" regardless whether they are good or bad. ECG performed in the emergency room are all stat readings and EKG done before surgery. Therefore could not have been any anything for you, but more for the reason you're there. Your family doctor can run more tests to check your heart and make sure no obstructions — A stress test, etc., but another electrocardiogram as soon not make sense. Good luck!
